Thank you everyone who came to the Big Breakfast . I think that those who came can agree we all had a really great time . The children who served were fantastic and as usual Mark and the team did a wonderful job in the kitchen. Pictures are now going up on the recent events page. By the way we raised £400 for a wonderful charity, not a bad mornings work !

Time for an overhaul of the website. Club pages are going to be handed over to trained volunteers from each hall user group that would like access to its own web pages. The W.I , Garden club and Film club will be the first to take part. They will be able to directly input information and pictures and we hope that this will lead to a better website for the village.

We have applied for various grants for the hall , one is for a new (and much better )lighting system , more insulation and some repairs. We have also applied for a grant for a new sound system ( we do need one for plays etc..) and a projector ( Saturday morning children's cinema? youth club games nights? , and to use for our film nights). We are also looking into  redecoration of the hall itself. We will let you know as soon as we can get on and do the above.
