SUMMER OUTINGS
Wednesday, June 22nd; Mottisfont Abbey
The annual coach outing will be to Mottisfont Abbey Garden. A National trust property, the grounds of the estate are bordered on one side by the fast flowing River Test and are delightful at any time of year. The walled garden houses the National Collection of old-fashioned roses that will be at their peak in June. The coach will leave The Narth around 8am, returning at 6pm.The coach fare is £25.(Please note that seats cannot be booked without payment.) Entrance £ 7.50 for non- NT Members. Tuesday, August 16th; Weston’s Cider Mill
A variation on visits this one will leave The Narth at 10am Weston’s Cider Mill at Much Marcle. The morning will include a guided tour with perry and cider tasting to be followed by a ploughman’s lunch on the premises. Cost (incl.lunch) £14.50 For more details contact Bobby, Isobel or Wendy.
